I'm so glad Kookie and Helen are together…however it turns out. I know some homes allow animals and that they are healing for the patients. I just had never considered that it might be healing for the animals, as well! Thanks!

So happy that Kookie and Helen are together again for a visit. It sounds like they have both been grieving.

But the problem is…can they stay together? How will that work out?

Love this story and it sounds like a very true experience.
I hope that the ending is a happy one. Thank you for all your stories.

Don't let Helen hear Cara call Kookie a parrot! Both Kookie and Helen are likely to turn on her… 😉
I am glad they are temporarily reunited, but worry what will happen next. Is there a window in Helen's room that could be fitted with an extension to make a place for Kookie? (I am reaching I know, but something has to give.) It sounds like Helen doesn't have long to live. How can anyone deny her the happiness Kookie brings? I can't wait to read how it all works out. You have a tough situation Joanna.
