Sergeant Eric S. Flowers, Indian River County Sheriff’s OfficeEric S. Flowers has worked at the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office since 2003, building an impressive career. He served as a Detective on IRCSO’s Sex Offender and Narcotics/Vice Units. Operation Stimulant Package and Operation Pill Street Blues are two significant missions for which he was Lead Case Agent. He also worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the Blue Lightning Strike Force.
Sergeant Flowers has an extensive teaching background, instructing specialized seminars on law enforcement training for IRCSO. He has presented Citizens Academy Training classes as well as lectures on Crime in Suburban America. He has written academic articles on the misuse of prescription drugs. Sgt. Flowers was awarded the 2013 Officer of the Year from the Hundred Club of IRC and is currently working on a Ph.D. in Health and Public Affairs at the University of Central Florida.
